In the final step of the Internet Wizard, the Ewon device will check the WAN connection settings.
For Ewon devices using Ethernet or WiFi, if the Ewon device is configured to use DHCP, the Ewon device will request an address from the DHCP server. If it is configured for a static address, the Ewon device will check that all mandatory network settings have been supplied.
For Ewon devices using a cellular connection, the Ewon will activate the modem and attempt to establish a connection to the cellular network.
If the WAN connection test is successful, the WAN configuration settings will be saved.
If the WAN connection test fails, click on the link to get more information from the events log about why the connection failed.
If you enabled the Internet Connection Test on the previous page, the results of this test will also appear here.
You might still be able to make a successful Talk2M connection even if the Internet Connection Test fails. This test checks general Internet access which may be restricted on your network. More information on required ports for Talk2M connection in the SSH-0209.
