By default, the Callback feature is disabled. Check the Callback Enabled checkbox to enable the feature.

The Callback Delay field holds the interval defining how long the Ewon device will wait before dialing out after it has been triggered. This is useful for releasing the phone line. The default value is 30 seconds.

The Wait for User Login For field holds the time interval defining how long the Ewon device will wait for the user to login once a connection has been triggered. If there is no login, the call will be dropped. The delay must be greater than the combined callback delay and the call establishment time.

Set the Dialup Account to the server used for the call back. Options included the primary or secondary dialup server as defined in your modem settings or to a the users’s request account. The User’s request account cannot be used when the Callback Mode is “On Ring.”

When the Callback Mode is set to “On Ring,” specify the Number of Rings needed before the callback function is triggered. Be aware that two additional rings are added to the number entered here. For example, if the value 3 is entered in this field, the callback is triggered if someone calls and lets the phone ring 5 times.

When the Callback Mode is set to “On Ring,” you can also enter the rings that will avoid the callback trigger in the Plus Number of Rings then On Hook field. To call the Flexy directly (without triggering the callback), it is the sum of both Number of Rings and Plus number of Rings then On Hook that is taken into consideration. For example: If Number of Rings is 3 and Plus number of Rings then On Hook is 5, the user will need to wait 8 rings before the Flexy picks up.

When the Callback Mode is set to “On User’s Request,” the actions take place on the homepage of the web interface. The callback starts by using the “Callback” button and closes by using the “Close PPP Connection” button. The delay is the time interval respected by the Ewon device before initiating the callback.
