All the Ewon device configuration parameters can be viewed and edited using the tabular edition section.

Most of the standard configuration parameters of the Ewon can be changed and configured using the user interface configuration windows and wizards. But for specific configuration or for specific reason it may be required to change also some advanced (non standard) parameters of the Ewon device.

The SYSTEM cfg section targets the general settings of the Ewon device, users, IO servers... Everything that is not linked to communication.

In fact, all the parameters found in this section are the ones listed in the “config.txt” file of the Ewon backup.

Refer to KB-0052-00 - Ewon config.txt for the acceptable values of each parameter and its explanation.

Modify a parameter

To find a specific parameter inside the list, the easiest is to use the filter field on the top of the tabular edition. The keyword can be from the Name or the Value columns.

To modify a parameter, double-click on the value of the parameter and enter the new value.

You can apply multiple changes at the same time. Simply select the next parameter, double-click on its value, and encode the new value.

To confirm and apply the changes, click on the Save button at the top of the table.

If you do not want to apply the changes, you can click on the Clear button, or simply close the tabular edition window.
