The OPC UA IO server allows you to configure your Ewon device to act as an OPC UA client capable of retrieving values from OPC UA servers such as those embedded in PLCs and HMIs.
This IO server allows the Ewon device to connect to a maximum of 3 different OPC UA devices/servers.
Certificates Management
The Certificate Management section allows you to upload, download, trust, and delete the certificates required for encryption and authentication between the Ewon device and the OPC-UA server.
Certificate management for the Ewon device’s OPC-UA server functionality is managed here as well. See the OPC-UA server section for more information about this feature.
