Mandatory Cybersecurity Requirements:
To comply with the latest mandatory cybersecurity requirements, please ensure that your Ewon device is updated with the latest available firmware during installation. If your device was running a firmware below 15.0, some parameters must also be updated to their recommended values after the upgrade.
This can be done either by performing a Reset Level 2 or, if your device is already configured, by following the procedure described in the following article Ewon Flexy & Cosy131 – Feature Changes Introduced in Firmware 15.0.
Please ensure that physical access protection to the Ewon device is guaranteed and allow only authorized users to connect to the LAN network.
Additionally, use the available access rights levels on both the Ewon device and in Talk2m to enforce the principle of least privilege.
Make sure strong and unique passwords are used for the Ewon web configuration pages.
