How much it costs to stream KPI from a cellular based Ewon gateway ?
If you would like to know how much data is streamed from your cellular based Ewon gateway to display the KPIs permanently on a screen or HMI, in a project, ... then this is the right FAQ.
We estimate the following data transfer based on our tests (6 KPIs displayed permanently) performed on a stable cellular connection:
For UDP: between 12 MB and 14 MB in a 24H time interval.
For TCP: between 13 MB and 15 MB in a 24H time interval.
Important
As a reminder:
Talk2m request the KPIs to the Ewon gateway only on demand, on a rate of every 5 seconds.
This means:
If you display them permanently on a screen, Talk2m will request those KPIs to the Ewon gateway every 5 seconds.
If you display them twice a day, Talk2m will only request the KPIs to the Ewon gateway twice a day.
