Abstract

Print your alarm events like a pro! Check out this article to learn what each i4scada Line Printer setting means!

The Line Printer section allows the user to configure the settings of the Line Printer output. The printer can be used to print alarm events like alarm on, alarm off and alarm acknowledged events.

Line Printer Section

The options listed in the Line Printer section are:

UI Option

Description

Active

Toggles on or off the line printer output. When enabled, the line printer is used to print out alarm events.

Printer name

The printer selected as output.

Page length

The height of the page to be printed.

Page width

The width of the page to be printed.

Left border width

The width of the left border of the page to be printed.

Sign "Alarm on"

The graphic symbol used to indicate that the alarm conditions are fulfilled and the alarm is on.

Sign "Alarm off"

The graphic symbol used to indicate that the alarm conditions are no longer fulfilled and the alarm is off.

Sign "Alarm acknowledgment"

The graphic symbol used to indicate that the alarm was acknowledged.

Capture "Alarm on" events

Toggles on or off the printing of Alarm On events. If disabled, the printer will not print any incoming alarm events.

Capture "Alarm off" events

Toggles on or off the printing of Alarm Off events. If disabled, the printer will not print any events for gone alarms.

Capture "Alarm acknowledgment" events

Toggles on or off the printing of Alarm Acknowledgement events. If disabled, the printer will not print any alarm acknowledgment events.

Page header

The text to be printed as a header.

Page footer

The text to be printed as a footer.

Column

Opens the Line Printer Columns dialog, which allows the user to enable or disable columns to be printed, to specify the width of each column, and to change the order of the columns.
