Description
In Internet Information Services (IIS) 6, the Application Pools are set by default
Applications like MessengerPro can crash when the limits of the Application Pool has been reached. For example, MessengerPro will not display further call records when the memory limit has been reached.
NOTE
Internet Information Services (IIS) 6 is available only in Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.
Solution
Remove the Application Pool limits in order to avoid applications crashes:
Open Control Panel and click on Administrative Tools.
Open the Internet Information Services 6 Manager.
In the left-side tree menu, expand the Application Pools folder and locate the desired Application Pool. Right-click on it and select Properties.
Locate the Memory recycling options in the lower part of the Recycling tab in the DefaultAppPool Properties window.
Disable the Maximum virtual memory and Maximum used memory options, like in the image below:
Click OK to confirm.
