Description
When browsing the local network for existing servers (PCs) in WEBfactory 2010Studio, the Network cannot be browsed error can occur.
Cause
The error is caused by the fact that the current computer cannot detect the Master Browser and retrieve a list of existing computer names in the network.
Solution
To avoid the above error, follow the next steps:
Run the Command Prompt (CMD) with Administrator privileges.
Run the following command in the CMD window:
net view
Next, type the same command followed by the name of the domain your computer is in.
The System error 6118 has occurred message will be displayed.
net view /domain:MyDomainName
All the computers from the domain will be displayed.
Now use the net view command again. This time the available computers will be shown. Browsing the network will also work in WEBfactory 2010Studio.
