Check out this article and learn how to import a SAIA project built with SAIA PG2.0.150x into WEBfactory SAIA S-Bus OPC Server.

Description

When importing a SAIA project built with SAIA programming environment v2.0.150 or higher into the WEBfactory 2010 SAIA S-Bus OPC Server(WEBfactory 2010 V3.2.6.1), the import will fail.

Solution

To fix this, the following procedure must be executed:

  1. Navigate to „C:\Program Files (x86)\WEBfactory 2010 \OPC Servers\Saia S-Bus OPC Server“

  2. Rename the file "SymDisp.exe" to "SymDisp_org.exe"

  3. Download the .zip archive file from the download link below. Extract the SymDisp.exe file from the archive.

  4. Copy the extracted file into the same folder where it was before renaming („C:\Program Files (x86)\WEBfactory 2010 \OPC Servers\Saia S-Bus OPC Server“)

  5. Test the import now

DOWNLOAD: SymDisp.zip (extract the file from the .zip archive before usage).
